FounderDeck collects as little as possible. In plain English, here is everything we do with data.
Emails you give us
Email addresses are optional on the submit and claim forms. If you provide one, we use it only to notify you about that specific submission or claim. We do not send marketing email, and we do not share or sell email addresses.
Anonymous usage analytics
We record anonymous, first-party usage events - things like page views and portfolio saves - tied to a random device-generated identifier. There are no third-party trackers, no advertising networks, and no sale of data.
Profile data comes from public sources
Company profiles are AI-generated from publicly available website information. Any contact email shown on a profile was taken from the company's own public pages.
Your portfolio lives on your device
FounderDeck is cookie-less. Your portfolio and device identifier are kept in your browser's localStorage. Clearing your browser data clears them.
Founders can request removal
If a profile describes your company and you want it corrected or gone, use the claim flow on the profile page. Removal is free and handled through that form.
No ads, no data sales
We do not run ads, do not use third-party analytics or tracking pixels, and do not sell or rent any data to anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
